Do your camp cooking planning before you go camping and have your meals, food, utensils organised. So you don’t get there and wonder what each meal will be and realise you have left some food or important utensils behind. Here are a few tips and ideas.
Plan your meals – For example if you are staying for a long weekend work out how many meals you will need to provide for. Then take the appropriate food required for each breakfast lunch and dinner.
Keep Meals Simple – Keep all or most of your meals easy to prepare, cook and to clean up. No need to make restaurant 3 course meals.
Cooking equipment – Check if you will have a campfire, barbeque or using the camp stove. Take the cooking equipment required to suit the food that you are cooking or preparing, Do you need a frypan, saucepan, tongs, camp oven etc.
Food – Work out what ingredients you need and only take the food required for your meals. Don’t take five different types of sauce if you are only going to use two or don’t take kilo of rice if you only need 1 cup. You have limited space so make the most of it.

TENT PARTS
Tents are used to live in by campers, nomads and disaster victims. They are also used as overhead protection for outside wedding ceremonies, festivals, parties and armies around the world on military incidents.Perhaps the most recognized tent being the “Big Top†used for circus all around the world.
The parts to a tent consist of : The flysheet, the inner tent, the vestibule, the groundsheet, the poles, the stakes, the air vents and the groundsheet protector.
The flysheet is waterproof and protects the tent from water.Be careful not to allow the flysheet to have any contact with the inner tent otherwise the inner tent will become very wet if raining. The inner tent is the main body of the tent where people sleep and do whatever else they want to do inside the tent. The vestibule is a section outside the inner body of the tent with no flooring or groundsheet. It is however still covered and can be used for the storage of equipment or the actual cleaning of gear. Most people use the vestibule as a place to cook however. The groundsheet acts as the base of the tent protecting the sleepers from damp floors or insects getting inside the tent. The poles are used to support and shape the tent. These are usually made of metal or fibre glass.Perhaps the best type of pole is the collapsible version. Camping is nice – but at times it is not as charging or as long as it might be. If you desire to have a holiday that just you or a small group of friends are able to enjoy then you have to consider trail camping. This is contrasting from the ordinary camping trip because you do not spend a couple of days in the exact same region.
The idea is to pick out a trail that is mapped out for campers. One of the most frequently utilized is the Appalachian Trail – which is also the greatest in the United States. Although it can be nearly impossible to complete the entire trail you and your friends will be able to backpack through it and stop each night to set up camp.
It is a good way to discover the nature that is around you and to search for everything in the area as you walk around. But in order to do it right you must have all of the needed supplies. Without these you will not be able to make it very far and will have to finish your trip early.

Controversy is huge when you bring up the subject of the ages, which is better, a folding chair, or a non-folding chair?
The Debate
The argument has elapsed since the dawn of the folding chair. Suddenly there was no more need for stationary, non-folding chairs. This upswing in popularity lead to folding chairs in all shapes and sizes, colours and combinations.
naturally, those still loyal to the non-folding chair, found this new model of chair to be strange and unnatural. leading revolts around the world, the NFCM (non-folding chair movement) burned down factories and threw insults at lonely campers in their folding chairs.
All this turmoil leaves members with a neutral stance on chair preference with one question, just which chair is the better camping chair?
The Pros
It can certainly be argued that the folding chair is more practical when going on a camping trip. With it’s lightweight compatibility and it’s ability to compact into a car, it is certainly more popular in terms of camping chairs. leaders of the folding chair movement point out the enjoyment they feel when they are actually able to fit chairs for the whole family in the car. Hikers have also given consent to the fact that, if it weren’t for folding chairs, they would not have the ability to sit in comfort after a long days hike.

The Pocono Mountain Lake region of Pennsylvania has been the center for family recreation for generations. However, if you are looking for one of the best places to spend your vacation then you will want to visit Lake Wallenpaupack, PA. This Lake offers you 52 miles of shoreline and countless opportunities for lake recreation. With a maximum depth of 60 feet, you can do everything in this lake from fish to water ski.
History of Lake Wallenpaupack
Lake Wallenpaupack is named after the name given to the region by the Lenape Indians. They called the area “Wallenpaupack,†which means “the stream of swift and slow waters.†This most likely refers to the water turbidity of the original streams and rivers that once flowed through the area.
Lake Wallenpaupack is not a natural lake, but rather a manmade reservoir. This reservoir was created back in 1927 by damming up the Wallenpaupack Creek near the Pennsylvania town of Wilsonville. As a result of this damming the valley flooded and created both a source of hydroelectric power, as well as a source of recreation for local residents and visitors.
